REPORT ON THE TRIP TO TURKEY FOR THE IDEA DEBATE COMPETITIONS IN TURKEY BY NABWETEME ELIZ KEVIN, S.4.C, GRACE HOUSE

It was Monday July 18th 2011 that the Ugandan Youth Forum Team set off for a two week trip to Turkey. The team comprised of five members i.e. Mr. Okot Patrick our coac from Nvara S.S, Mr. Muhindo Johncation from the National Debate Council, Amukidosi Jeremiah an S.6 vacist from Bishop Cyprian, Luzira, Mwesigwa Onesmus an S.5 student at Mbarara High School and I.

We left the airport at around 4:00 p.m and made two stop overs. The first was in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for 1 hour and 30 minutes after which we travelled to Dubai for 8 hours. More........
