About KCB:
A good school is surely a place where everyone has the maximum choice of developing his/her talents-the opportunity of finding what he/she is good at, for finding what he/she is particularly interested, what valuable contribution to make: or in which sphere he/she can excel. We add on in the spirit of the Budo Motto "Gakyali Mabaga".
Founded in March 1906, King's College Budo, located In Wakiso district, Nsangi county, Nsangi parish, Budo village 5km off the main Kampala – Masaka road, has come a long way and, as we all know, one hundred years and more is not an easy thing to be, for it brings with it its creaks and pains.
Admission to the school: Admission to King's College Budo is through a selective process based on merit rom the Primary Leaving Examination (P.L.E) results for the Senior One and Uganda Certificate of Education (U.C.E) results for the Senior Five, records and recommendation from previous school.

School Anthem
Oh maker of this lovely hill
The trees and grasses freshly green
We thank you for this Royal Hill. As gifts from thine Almighty hand
We love our school our farm our land
But though these gifts enrich and please
We pray to love Thee more than these. |
|
Oh teacher of all truth and right
Who leadest those that seek the light
We entrust them to thy loving grace
And thank Thee for this well beloved school

| Over the years King's College Budo, true to its founders' vision, has recognised excellent performance in different fields; games and sports, agriculture, academics, being helpful, music and drama, debate, etc. This recognition culminates in our cherished annual prize giving ceremonies. We have gone a step further by recognising excellent contribution by our former students, by awarding them the prestigious Budo ORDER OF MERIT. At every end of term individual students are brought to the Headmaster's office for report signing. This is an occasion for both the teachers and the scholars to give an account of their performance. It is an occasion to celebrate good work. We have not lost any opportunity to call upon our students to excel in whatever they do.
We give praise and thanks to the founder of this great school: Mr Weatherhead (Sabaganzi) for his vision, to the Baganda Chiefs, the C.M.S., Ssabataka Daudi Chwa, Ssabataka Edward Muteesa, parents and the public for their contribution to the building and development of King's College Budo. We remember with grateful hearts all those who have served this school with dedication, commitment and love; the students who have gone through the gates of King's College Budo should continue to produce men and women of real backbone, firm in their convictions and principles , ready to serve their God and fellow men. Let us continue to produce determined scholars in every field of human endeavour. We are reminded to keep pace with the future Technological, Vocational, Democratic and Environmental studies now through effective use of the Internet.
Come, let us thank God for all that He has provided and enabled Budo to achieve. Let us commit ourselves to his loving care and his service thereby we serve our fellow men.
